Vijf voor vijf 's ochtends: ijs! Battaklang tegen de romp. Effe door de patrijspoort loeren: nog steeds grijs en veel ijs. Mm, ik draai me toch nog maar ns effe om in de kajuit.
Five to five in the morning and I wake up of the sound of ice against the hull of the ship. Outside, it's still grey, with ice as far as the eye can see. This will be the view for the coming days, so I turn around in my bunk and take another nap.

Beetje achter op de feiten... Toch nog een gelukkige verjaardag gewenst, Rudi, en een heel schoon jaar met nog een paar van die reisjes, au moins!
